Altomare Tiles

Designer: Domenico Tammaro

Altomare was created by designer Domenico Tammaro to evoke the sea, the brilliant crests of its waves and the warm sand that stems and softens the force of the sea.

Likewise, the craftsman outlines the surface of each tile with dedication and diligence. Altomare is a collection that recalls a fossil and primitive nature, designed by the natural wave motion of sea waters.
The observation of a ductile material such as clay allowed the designer to interpret the material as if it were a canvas on which to outline landscapes and then sublimate them through chromatic research. The relief surface gives a desired sensorial (tactile) contribution and the intent to preserve the geographical origin of its production.
